전남대 대학원에서는 대학원생 및 신진연구인력의 국제역량 강화를 위한 온라인 1:1 화상영어 프로그램을 진행합니다. 



1. 운영목적: 대학원생 영어 학술논문 발표, 국제 컨퍼런스 참석 시 반드시 알아야 할 영어 표현과
                   효과적 영어 말하기 전략 학습을 통해 대학원생의 글로벌 의사소통 역량 강화

2. 지원대상: 일반대학원 대학원생 및 신진연구인력 40명 (수료 후 등록생 신청 가능)

3. 운영기간: '25. 5. 26.(월) ~ '25. 7. 31.(목)
※ '25. 6. 22.(일)까지 9회 미만 수강 시, 예비합격자에게 수강권 양도

4. 신청기간: '25. 5. 13.(화) ~ '25. 5. 19.(월)

5. 신청방법: 전남대학교 대학원 홈페이지 로그인 – 학생성장지원 – GradGrow(비교과)
※ 지원동기 반드시 작성 (학습 목표 상세 기재 필수)
     예) 8월 OO(국가명)에서 진행되는 국제 OOOOOO 컨퍼런스 참가, 2학기 OOO에서 학술 논문 영어 발표 등

6. 지원내용: Ringle 화상영어 20분 수업권 14회, 40분 수업권 4회 지급(총 18회, 440분 지원)
※ 운영기간 내 출석률 100% 달성자 대상 추가 수업권(20분 2회) 및 AI튜터 1개월 무제한 구독권 선착순 지급

7. 강의시간
가. 1:1 맞춤형 강의 및 교정으로 원하는 시간에 수강 가능(14:00~19:00 제외)
나. 원하는 수업 예약, 실시간 수업 모두 가능(예약은 이틀 전까지 가능, 예약 취소 및 변경은 수업 시작 2시간 전까지 가능)
다. 날짜, 시간 관계없이 주어진 20분×14회·40분×4회 내에서 자유롭게 예약 및 사용

8. 운영방법: Ringle(링글) 자체시스템을 활용한 온라인 실시간 화상강의

9. 세부과정: 강의 수강 목적에 따라 회차별 수업유형 및 교재 자율 선택
Type 1. 카테고리 교재 기반 수업▸경영/경제, 시사/정치, 영어 공부 등 원하는 카테고리의 교재를 선택하여 최신 이슈, 취업 준비, 공부 팁 주제로 수업
Type 2. 시나리오 기반 연습 수업▸비즈니스 미팅, 이메일 등의 주제를 롤플레잉과 같은 연습 문제를 통해 직접 말하고 작성하며 실전처럼 연습 및 실시간 교정
Type 3. 공인인증 시험 대비 수업▸OPIC, SPA, IELTS와 같은 공인인증 시험 준비 팁 및 실전과 같은 연습 질문들로 대비
Type 4. 개인자료 기반의 자유주제 수업▸이메일, 발표자료, 미팅에 필요한 개인자료를 사전에 업로드하여 원하는 주제로 튜터와 함께 상황과 목적에 맞는 교정 수업 진행

CNU Graduate School Online 1:1 Video English Program (Selection Announcement: May 21 at 5 PM)

The Graduate School at Chonnam National University is offering an online 1:1 video English program for graduate students and early-career researchers to enhance their international communication skills.

 

Program Overview

1. 1. Objective: To help graduate students build proficiency in English speaking skills required for academic presentations,
                          international conferences, and effective communication. The program focuses on appropriate vocabulary, cultural 
                          knowledge, and intonation through online speaking sessions.

3. 2. Eligibility: 40 graduate students and new researchers (including registerd students after completion) 

1. 3. Program period: May 29, 2025 (Monday) – July 31, 2025(Thursday)
   •     If fewer than 9 sessions are completed by June 22, 2025(Sunday), the spot will be reassigned to a waiting applicant.

2.     Log in to the CNU Graduate School website → Student Growth Support → GradGrow (Extracurricular Programs)
3. ※ Motivation is required (Please describe a detailed motiviation with clear outlining your learning goal)
        e.g.) Participation in the International OOOOOO Conference to be held in August in [Country name], English presentation of academic papaer in the 2nd semester in [Program or course name] and etc.

5. 6. Support Provided: 20-minute classes: 14 sessions & 40-minute classes: 4 sessions (Total: 18 classes, 440 minutes)
   •   * Reward for 100% Attendance: Additional 2 classes(2*20 minute) & a one(1) month AI Tutor Subscription will be provided
   •     on a first-come, first-served basis.

6. 7. Class Hours:

   • Flexible scheduling for 1:1 personalized classes (excluding 2:00 PM–7:00 PM).
   • Sessions can be booked in advance or attended in real-time.
     • Class must be booked at least two days in advance.
     • Cancellations or changes are allowed up to 2 hours before the class starts.

   * Category-Based Classes:

   • Select from topics like business/economics, current affairs/politics, and English learning tips.
   • • Role-playing and hands-on exercises for business meetings, email writing, and more, with real-time corrections.
     • * Test Preparation Classes:
       • Prepare for official tests like OPIC, SPA, and IELTS with practical tips and mock questions.
       • * Custom Topic Classes:
         • Upload personal materials (emails, presentation slides, etc.) in advance for tailored corrections and guidance.
